a bookish mom of two daughters, and her wannabe fairyland world.
oh no!!!! i'm so sorry! sad kitty day. happy you had such a lovely pet though. kissies to you.
We knew it was coming, and after this weekend, we knew it had to be this morning. Doesn't make it easier. Thank you.
omg she looks just like Sally!
And she was my husband's darling, too.
Oh I'm so sorry, that's hard. She looks like a lovely cat.
Thank you. She was. She had a lot of personality, too. We've been sharing Katie stories all day.
Oh no. *hug* I'm so sorry honey for your loss. What a lovely girl.
Thank you. She had a long run, but it's still hard to let go. xoxo
Poor Katie! I hope the kids took it well and aren't too sad about it. It's hard explaining death to the young ones. But Katie was loved and you gave her a wonderful home so I am sure she will have fond memories of you in Kitty heaven :)
Lucky for the girls, she was always closest to my husband. They're sad, but not as sad as they might have been if it had been one of the other cats. We warned them this day was coming, and they had some time to pet her and kiss her last night and this morning.
Aww...so sorry! That IS always hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet!!! :(
It's been tough. She was my husband's baby since the time she was a kitten.
I'm so sorry! It is hard to say goodbye... She must have been a lovely pet.
She was lovely, with a giant personality. So many Katie stories...
Even when you know they're hurting, it's hard to say good-bye to a dearly loved family pet! So sorry!
It is. My husband was beating himself up for not taking her in sooner, but he's had her for 17 years. It was very hard for him, even when she started yowling in pain Sunday night. :(
Its always so hard!!! :( breaks my heart. Those beloved pets. I totally know how it feels. xoxoxo
This is the first difficult pet loss in a while. My husband wandered into the bedroom the other night, and reached down to pet his Katie - then he realized, it was hit hat. Then, he remembered. We have 3 more kitty girls to love. One is old but in great shape, the other two are young whippersnappers. Thanks, Robyn. xoxoxo
Comments are welcome! I'm a shy blog commenter, too, but I do love to read what people have to say. All I ask is, please be kind, to me and to each other.
