Sick Day

The photo you see above is my very full, very heavy library bag.  So many books to read, including many awesome nonfiction titles for Women's History Month, and I am sick, sick, sick.  Poor Big Sis, who came home from school again on Friday, has been out of commission since then, and now I have it, too.  We missed out on the glorious spring-like weather yesterday, sleeping as much of the day away as possible.  I must get up this morning to get Little Sis to school, and tonight, I have to go to the Daisy Scout meeting to turn in cookie money, but seriously, I feel awful.  This is some nasty stuff.  I probably won't be posting much this week.  I doubt I'll be reading much this week, for that matter.  Here are some sick-themed videos, though:  a song from Muppet Babies, an eastern-European cartoon about a sick elephant that I used to see on Pinwheel, a couple old-school Sesame Street bits, a song from Sid the Science Kid, and a vintage public service film about how not to get sick in the first place.

  1. You sound super busy. I hear ya. I hate when I have to take back books I haven't read.

    1. We should get through them, just not at the rate I had set. Oh, well....

  2. Oh no you too! Wishing you all a speedy recovery!

  3. Thanks! Big Sis and I are doing better, but Little Sis has just now come down with the worst of it. BLAH. :)

Comments are welcome! I'm a shy blog commenter, too, but I do love to read what people have to say. All I ask is, please be kind, to me and to each other.
