Not Quite Narwhal (Little Sis Tuesday on Thursday)

It's summer, and although I'm a bit late, it's time for Little Sis Tuesday! [Yes, it's actually Thursday. We're running a little behind!] This is when I let my youngest daughter take over the blog. Little Sis is 9 1/2 now, and loves all things unicorn or unicorn-like. This book is one of her favorites from the library!  - Danzel

Not Quite Narwhal by Jessie Sima
Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2017.

Not Quite Narwhal is the cutest book about a unicorn that lives under sea. The unicorn thinks it is a narwhal.

The unicorn's name was Kelp.

Kelp noticed his tusk was smaller than the other narwhals'.
And he did not like the food.

  • He was very different from everyone else.

Kelp went along and swam with the narwhals, but ended up coming out of the sea.

Kelp ended up with the LAND NARWHALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                         Also known as the UNICORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KELP was EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kelp was learning how to do MAGIC with his horn!!!

But sadly he had to go home to narwhals. They were his friends, and he missed them. They missed him, too.

Kelp missed the unicorns ...
He just could not stop thinking about them.

The narwhals carried Kelp to land, to the unicorns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now they could all be friends TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE END

Thank you, dear daughter, for your summary. I hope my readers enjoyed all the exclamation points and CAPITALIZED EXUBERANCE!!!! As usual, I cleaned up her creative spelling and some of the punctuation, but she insisted on the exclamation points and some of the formatting. It is her post, after all! - Danzel

Comments are welcome! I'm a shy blog commenter, too, but I do love to read what people have to say. All I ask is, please be kind, to me and to each other.
