Playing Restaurant

Little Sis, with some help from her sister, set up a restaurant last night.  I thought I'd share.  Unfortunately, she did this so soon before bedtime that there wasn't much time to play.  The evenings go so fast during the school year.  Poor kiddos.

We're getting ready for Big Sis's birthday!  She decided to have a party at one of our favorite parks.  In addition to that, Little Sis starts dance again tonight.  (Big Sis starts Monday.)  My mother and aunt should be coming to town tomorrow.  We're busy!

Speaking of restaurants and playing, head over to the darling Jane-Cherie and enter to win some adorable Orcara miniature food!  My little restaurateur loves her dolls and play sets and mini things (and pork chops), so I know she'd be thrilled to score this prize.

  1. I was just thinking last night about how little playtime Miss C. has now that school is back in session. I feel as though we're rushing through each evening... and we don't even have any after school activities to attend. But between homework and dinner, there's very little time left for play or anything else.

    1. It's so true. I feel so bad for the girls, especially my little one, who is still adjusting to full-time school.

  2. SO CUTE! I always will be sad that we never got a cardboard market stand or made one or something, so we (or i) can play market store. I could play market store forever!

    1. Big Sis used to pretend to shop for things all the time! She was so tiny, and worked it all out on her own. Little Sis loves to play restaurant. Sometimes she gets her sister to make signs and menus for her. I felt so bad for her that she made such a sweet table, but it was so close to bedtime.

  3. I loved playing restaurant as a kid (still do LOL)! I didn't buy any fake food (the big size) for baby yet. Thanks for putting up a link to my giveaway :)
