Happy May Day!

Materials:  heavy scrapbook paper, washi tape, tissue paper, scotch tape, ribbon, flowers, and Hershey's kisses.

And this is how Little Sis, her best friend, and I spent the early afternoon.

Happy May Day!

P.S.  Love to update everyone on crazy Kansas weather.  Yesterday, it was sunny and 86 degrees.  Today, it's in the 70s with a chance of rain and storms.  Tonight:  snow.  That's what they say!

  1. Snow??? D: I hope not! Oh dear, it's a terrible weather fluctuation!

You May Day project is lovely! My husband used to live in Hawaii where May Day was just fabulous with dances and flower show. It's pretty non-existent here in my city :/ You inspire me to try to do something next year though!

    1. Right now, we have freezing rain. I prefer snow. I actually like it. I HATE freezing rain, though.

May Day in Hawaii sounds delightful! We received a beautiful May Day basket from friends last year. I felt like we needed to do something ourselves this year. I'm glad we fit it in!

    1. Thank you! It was fun. And it kept the little ones preoccupied for a while. They made baskets, they played outside, they ate lunch. That only left a little bit of time to get out toys and make a mess. ;)

    1. We did! I loved your post last year. It was cool to revisit it yesterday.

It's supposed to heat back up soon. Seriously, it was HOT a couple of days ago! I'm hoping for snow, as crazy as it sounds. I want this freezing rain to disappear!
