Green

My green skirt and stripey St. Patrick's Day socks.

If you can't be somewhere Irish, perhaps Scottish?  The beautiful Scottish Rite building.  Big Sis is in a play at the theatre.

A St. Paddy's Day stop at The Donut Whole.  The girls hate boba tea, but loved the little fairy on my cup.

A close-up of the Pot O' Gold donut.

Green at home:  Our green lantern, my green afghan, my green cardigan, and The Secret of Roan Inish.

We didn't do much.  We had a nice visit with a good friend from college, Big Sis had rehearsals for a musical, and I'm green with yet another flippin' cold.

This house needs a major disinfecting.

Time to start thinking about Easter...

  1. I think I have bruises all over my arms from the attack I got yesterday before I put on anything green... those boys or mine were ruthless!!! I'm wishing I had a donut... those look yummy! I love all your green. :)

    1. I made up a "Pajamas don't count!" rule. Then little sis got dressed in pink and blue. She refused to put on any green and insisted that her sister pinch her. I have a strange child.

She did put on rainbow striped socks, though.

    1. We watched it on YouTube, but through the Roku. Go here: https://owner.roku.com/add/VideoBuzz. It's a private channel. Roku private channels can be very good things. Sometimes they become regular Roku channels. Our house needs cleaning, too, but that's the usual case, because I'm the world's worst housekeeper. Yesterday, the girls were playing "mommy" with their baby dolls, and Mr. B came in and announced, "Well, our girls will be terrible housekeepers, but they'll be fabulous mommies." I raised an eyebrow, looked around the kitchen and said, "Well, they come by it honestly." He laughed and said he was about to say something along those lines...

    2. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only World's Worst Housekeeper! Aaagh. Things are a disaster again. But in my defense, I have an excuse this time - I was up all night with the baby - she had a fever/threw up.

    1. The Donut Whole is awesome. Big Sis picked the pot o' gold donut. It was colored green inside, too. I'm terribly unoriginal, and tend to stick to my triple chocolate. Little Sis does, too. They were rather picked over when we paid our visit, but we got our favorites and I got my tea! :o)

I thought I was just having a wretched allergy attack. It felt like that, then exploded into something worse. I think when the cold is gone, I'll be left with the allergies. Ugh.
