The Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm (TASCHEN Books)

I wanted it.  A friend sent me an Amazon gift card over Facebook.  I spent it immediately.  (Look at the price!)  It arrived Monday.

And it is that beautiful.

You can find a slide show of illustrations on the publisher website.  Just click here.

Illustrators include Kay Nielsen, Gustav Tenggren, Walter Crane, Arthur Rackham, and many great nineteenth-century German illustrators.

Who wouldn't want to dive into this book, based on the title page alone?

On an unrelated note - well, sort of unrelated - I also got my very first DSLR for my birthday.  (Thank you, Daddy!)  I am a complete and total novice, but plan to learn how to use it!  I am hoping to upgrade my photo quality soon!

    1. It makes me so happy. I spent yesterday handing it to anyone who walked in the door: "Look! Look!" like an obnoxious kid.

    1. The deal on Amazon was too good to pass up, with the gift card. I'd drooled over it so long. :o)

Comments are welcome! I'm a shy blog commenter, too, but I do love to read what people have to say. All I ask is, please be kind, to me and to each other.
